General information
It is located in the district of Upper Bavaria, in the Ammersee-Region, in the district of Landsberg. (Location/Aerial photograph)
It is characterised by a generous equipment and by its situation in the midst of nature.
The large living-dining room with kitchen and balcony has a wonderful view.
There are all necessary appliances for cooking and baking, a refrigerator with freezer compartment and also a dishwasher.
The holiday flat with approx. 140 sqm living space is located on the small organic farm, secluded and quiet outside the village between meadows and fields.
There is a large garden with terrace and grill possibility, as well as a small pond before the house. Next door is our small organic beekeeping.
Around the property are meadows, fields and the forest.
At night you can see the “Milky Way” and many other stars in the sky.
In spring the frogs croak, there are many different small animals: a few cats, and much to observe in the green and at the pond, in summer dwarf sheep are on the pasture.
Access for guests
The front door can be opened both with a radio key and a code and is therefore well suited for groups.
The apartment has its own front door and is accessible via a connecting staircase to the 1st floor.
In all rooms there is a folder with important information about the holiday flat and the surroundings, e.g. addresses of shopping possibilities, excursion destinations, house rules, etc.
Since there are also dangers in agriculture, our guests may only stay in the agricultural area under our guidance. Unfortunately, we cannot assume any liability.
Interaction with guests
During your stay we can be found temporarily in the apartment below.
A weekly basic cleaning service is also offered for long-term bookings.
The neighbourhood
The free views from the window, stars in starlit nights, nature and its sounds, the cat greeting you at your door, the terrace and the garden inviting you to linger and relax…. in winter hoar frost on the trees around the house…
We have two neighbors: across the road lives a family with a small farm and about 500 m away from us there is a graveyard for animals.
Shopping facilities for daily needs are only a few km away and also accessible on a cycle path.
Interaction with guests
We often live in the granny apartment below and are always on hand when you need us. We also like to stay in the background if you want to be undisturbed.
For long-term bookings we also offer a weekly or monthly basic cleaning service.
Means of transport
The yard is remote, so it is advisable to be mobile yourself or to have a vehicle with you: Bicycle, car.
There is hardly any road traffic, but nevertheless a good connection to the traffic routes.
e.g. to the motorway Munich/Lindau approx. 10 km, to the connecting road Landsberg/Weilheim 1 km or to the B17 to Schongau approx. 5 km.
Munich airport is about 80 km away, to the royal castles (Neuschwanstein, Linderhof) it is about 60 minutes by car.
There are approx. 5 bus connections daily to Landsberg or approx. 1 km away towards Wessobrunn/Weilheim.
The nearest train station is in Landsberg/Lech or Kaufering (approx. 15 minutes by car).
To the Oktoberfest:
Connection is by bus or taxi/car to the station Kaufering. In approx. 30 minutes you are from Kaufering in Munich-Pasing, from there with the S-Bahn to the Hackerbrücke and further on foot (approx. 8 minutes) to the Oktoberfest.
To the Kaltenberger Ritterspiele:
by car approx. 20 minutes
Further important information
Bed sheeting is included in the price; a hairdryer is available in the bathroom.
Toilet paper, tampons, a handmade soap, coffee, tea, milk, sugar, salt, vinegar, oil and spices for the first days are also available.
Towels can be booked for a fee.
If the total amount is paid in advance at least 3 weeks before arrival, the towels will be provided free of charge (receipt of money on our account).

At suitable temperatures you can camp in the garden.
In case of cancellation, the days for which we can rent the apartment elsewhere at the same price will be refunded.

Surroundings / Excursions
You can start directly from our farm on the Lech-Ammersee cycle path.
The Lech-Höhenweg (approx. 1,5 km away) whitch is namend now LechErlebnisWeg is a footpath that goes from Landsberg/Lech to Füssen along the banks of the river Lech or in the other direction to Landsberg/Lech.
You will also find bathing lakes, museums, churches and many other excursion destinations.
